No. of stranded passengers in various ports nationwide rises to 5,580

Rough sea condition caused by typhoon “Lando” stranded a total of 5,580 passengers in various ports nationwide, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said in an advisory at 8 a.m. Sunday.

PCG said that this number was 75 more than the 5,505 reported at 4 a.m. Among those stranded were 78 vessels, 48 motor bancas, and 504 rolling cargoes.
