FESSAP is the sole local national university sports body recognized by FISU

The Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP) is the sole national university sports federation recognized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), a University based Olympic Style competitions participated by the sports power in the world with 180 countries such as USA, Russia, Germany, France, Brazil, Italy, England, South Africa, China, Korea, Japan and others.

FESSAP has been recognized by The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) since 1999.
