Muslim leaders reject substitute BBL

COTABATO CITY, Maguindanao: Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) officials through the Bangsamoro Transition Committee issued a resolution opposing the substitute bill aimed to create a Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

The 14-member committee appealed to members of the House of Representatives and Senate to pass the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) in its original form, that is, House Bill No. 4994 and Senate Bill No. 2408 as sponsored in the lower and upper houses of Congress, respectively.
