CEBU: The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has issued a cease and desist order against Psalm Property Venture and Development Corporation (PPVDC) for destroying a number of mangroves by backfilling limestone materials inside a timberland area in Sitio Tulay, Cotcot, Liloan town in Cebu province.

The order was signed by Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer in Cebu City, Raul Pasoc, last July 31 addressed to Avelino Albines that was received on the same day by a certain Nenecris Cataga.
