Benguet town will regulate plastic use

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet: The use, sale and disposal of plastic bags and styrofoam packaging will soon be regulated in the municipality of Mankayan, Benguet.

Locals officials have crafted Municipal Ordinance No. 2014-03 regulating the use, sale and disposal of plastic bags and styrofoam packaging with corresponding penalties for violators.
