Engineering students John Paul Santos and Christian Santa Romana of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) took third place in the Go Green in the City World Finals held recently in Paris, France.
Their invention, Electrifilter, a device that generates electricity from waste water, took third spot in the 12-nation competition.
