The Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) on Tuesday praised a move by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) to buy back, restore and conserve the old Paco Train Station as part of the overall rehabilitation of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) system.

Ivan Anthony Henares, president of HCS, told The Manila Times that his group was “elated” that the Paco Train Station would be restored.
