CEBU CITY: The P16.5-billion third bridge that would link Cebu mainland to Cordova island, which is connected to Mactan Island by bridges, will be completed in three years, assured Cordova Mayor Adelino Sitoy.
Sitoy led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Shell Island Thursday morning at the Cebu City-owned South Road Properties (SRP). The ceremony was symbolic for the town because it was also the date that Cordova became an independent town. It used to be a part of Lapu-Lapu City.
