The Quezon City government is set to host a “Pride Parade” next month as part of its “World Pride Festival” for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in the country. QC Pride Council (QCPC) chairperson director Soxie Topacio said the parade, which will start at Tomas Morato and will end at the Quezon Memorial Circle, on December 7 will culminate the series of activities slated for the month-long QC World Pride Festival. “We are inviting a lot of groups and institutions to join the month-long celebration that provides a wide range of activities for people to participate in and help raise greater awareness for the LGBT community and its rights,” Topacio said.
