TUGUEGARAO CITY: Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul is being tapped by the Ibanag Heritage Foundation Inc. (IHFI) in its advocacy to promote and preserve the treas-ures of the Cagayan River especially Ludong and other threatened and endemic species. IHFI Executive Director Artemio Arugay said the foundation takes pride in the proclamation of Ms. Supranational, herself an Ibanag from Santa Maria, Isabela; fillers have been sent inviting her for a fellowship with the IHFI founder and Vice President Jejomar Binay. Arugay said the foundation looks at her as the perfect advocate of the Ibanag cultural heritage particularly those that are associated with the “bannag” (river).
