SPORTY need not mean a noisy gearbox or a cabin festooned with cheap stuff (at least match the lighting colors of the radio and gauges, for heaven’s sake). And, thankfully, this is a not concern in the Hyundai Genesis Coupé.
Of course, it can be argued that the Genesis Coupé is more a grand tourer than a sports car, explaining its added comfort and refinement. For the benefit of those who haven’t the slightest clue of what the difference between the two is, a sports car is usually cramped and noisy while a grand touring car—or GT—is less cramped and noisy. Unless you spend most of your life smoking tires on a racetrack, a GT should serve up more than enough doses of sporty driving fun for you.
