The Quezon City (QC) government has sealed a sister-city agreement with Roxas City in Capiz for the advancement of environmental management, trade and tourism development relations between the two cities, Mayor Herbert Bautista of Quezon City announced over the weekend. Bautista said that a memorandum of agreement was signed by Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City and Mayor Angel Alan Celino of Roxas City at Quezon City Hall on Monday to formalize the sister-city relations. Celino, meanwhile, expressed optimism that the sisterhood agreement of the two cities will result in a meaningful relationship, especially in the area of enhancing economic and commercial interests on a mutually beneficial basis.
