If youve been reading and watching anything and everything you can about the Comedy King in the past month as I have, you will come to know that Mang Dolphy has a special place for Hong Kong in his heart.
The first thing that would come to mind is the 1957 movie Hong Kong Holiday, where it is often said that his comedy and song and dance routines stole the show from lead actors Ric Rodrigo and Gloria Romero; followed by an interesting bit of trivia that the Comedy King had actually worked in Hong Kong in the 1940s as a dancer and errand boy, effectively making him an OFW (overseas Filipino worker) long before the term was coined.
