Maja Salvador wins Urian best actress

Maja Salvador has always been regarded as one of the best actresses of her generationnow she has the trophy to prove it.

On Wednesday night, Salvador was named Best Actress at the 35th Gawad Urian for her titular role in the independent film Thelma. She won over an impressive list of nominees that included Eugene Domingo, Alessandra de Rossi, Cherie Pie Picache, Diana Zubiri, Isabel Lopez, Raquel Villavicencio, Opaline Santos, Lilia Cuntapay and Fides Cuyugan.
