The Mania Police District on Friday reported that two unidentified alleged robbers were killed while three others escaped following an encounter with policemen. Senior Police Officer 1 Charles John Duran, case investigator of MPD-Homicide Section, described the unidentified suspects as 20 to 24 years old, 5’4 and 5’6 in height, medium build and dark complexioned and 20 years old to 25 years old, 5’4 to 5’7 in height and medium build. Duran added that the shootout happened at about 11:10 p.m. on Thursday when the five suspects held up a passenger jeepney along Padre Faura Street corner Taft Avenue in Manila.
