Stock market slide accelerates

FEARS that the global economy may slip back to recession sent Philippine share prices to another steep decline, extending losses to a fourth straight session.

At the Philippine Stock Exchange, the composite index lost 210.14 points, or 5.13 percent to a six-month low of 3,885.96.
