PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino 3rd on Wednesday appointed former Rep. Rufino “Ruffy” Biazon of Muntinlupa City (Metro Manila) as the new commissioner of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and retired Army Gen. Danilo Lim as deputy commissioner for intelligence.

Deputy spokesman Abigail Valte said that Mr. Aquino believes that Biazon will be able to implement reforms and meet revenue targets at the BOC.
