Malacañang on Thursday said that it would assess and verify revelations made by former Maguindanao elections supervisor Lintang Bedol on alleged irregularities in Maguindanao province during the 2007 senatorial elections.
Meanwhile, former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos denied other revelations, this time from suspended Gov. Zaldy Ampatuan of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), on alleged widespread irregularities during the 2007 mid-term polls in the region.
