COTABATO City: The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Region XII is going to establish a mariculture park in the province of Sultan Kudarat, an official of the agency said Friday.

BFAR Regional XII Director Sani Macabalang said his office is going to promote mariculture as a major livelihood for the coastal fisher folk in Sultan Kudarat to improve socio-economic growth and food security not only in the province but in the entire region as well.
