A UNIT of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) said it has consolidated the group’s shares in the country’s largest electricity distributor.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Pilipino Telephone Corp. (Piltel) said it completed on Wednesday a P23.13 billion investment by way of a subscription to 1.256 million shares of common stock of Beacon Electric Asset Holdings Inc. at P20 per share.
