It was one of the largest gathering of ultra-marathoners in the country. And it was not for just any ultra-marathon; The North Face 100 (TNF100) in Baguio from April 24 to 25 was a trail run that had contestants gasping the thin air of the mountain city as they climbed even higher elevations in Benguet through steep fire roads and steeper single tracks day and night.
In the 100-kilometer distance category, there were over 67 finishers. There were also 82, 94 and 248 finishers for 50-kilometer, 22-kilometer and 11-kilometer distances, respectively.
