BSP relief not rainfall, but blessing!

WE laud the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for issuing Memorandum M-2010-007 that provided timely regulatory relief for banks affected by the long dry spell resulting from El Niño. It is a blessing of sorts as the industry has been suffering from the burden of shouldering the needs of the agricultural sector in affected rural areas.
