Jueteng whistleblower in Bicol ambushed in Pasay City

LEGAZPI CITY: The end for controversial jueteng lord whistleblower Wilfredo “Boy” Mayor came on Sunday morning when two unidentified men riding tandem in a motorcycle shot him dead in an ambush that also wounded his driver and a body guard at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport road in Pasay City, Manila.

Mayor has oftenly attacked in the media the alleged millions of pesos worth of ghost dredging projects, campaign fund-raising and control over the big volume of contracts in the region by a big businessman reportedly close to the first family.
