Shonen Knife performs in Manila for 2010 Nihongo Fiesta

Popular Japanese rock band Shonen Knife, best known to Filipino audiences as the group who popularized the remake of the Carpenters hit “Top of the World” back in the 90s, is coming to Manila. The concert will highlight the Nihongo Fiesta organized by the Japan Foundation Manila in cooperation with the SM Mall Of Asia on February 27.

The annual festival, which promotes international cultural and arts exchange between Japan and the Philippines, will include a highly anticipated Nihongo speech contest, a fun and hip Japanese and Filipino Street Fashion Exhibit and Contest, and an exciting J-Rock Concert.
