ABOUT 230 families in Parañaque and Pasay will be spending a lonely Christmas after their houses were razed by fire Wednesday evening while another blaze hit a commercial building in Muntin­lupa Thursday.

In Parañaque, 30 houses in Barangay San Isidro Creekside were gutted by a fire, which started at 7:26 p.m. Fire Officer Teodorico Gatchalian said 50 families lost their homes in the four-hour fire. Damage to property was placed at P200,000.
