NBI chief Reynaldo Wycoco is dead

Director Reynaldo Wycoco of the National Bureau of Investigation died on Monday at age 59, after almost a month of fighting for his life at the intensive care unit of the Manila Doctor’s Hospital (MDH) due to a hemorrhagic stroke.

Dr. Dante Morales, medical director of the MDH, said Wycoco died about 6 p.m. when his condition took a turn for the worse after the blood filled his brain.
