COCONUT is back in the limelight owing to the latest valuable discoveries, such as the medicinal value of the virgin coconut oil (VCO) and the timely and very relevant coconut biodiesel. The Philippine’s biodiesel providers are set to produce 70 million liters of coconut biodiesel as soon as Congress finally enacts a law mandating oil firms to add 1 percent of biodiesel to fuel.
