Failing to get what it said were forthright answers from National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales, the Senate blue-ribbon committee on Wednesday cited him for contempt and ordered him detained.
The committee had summoned Gonzales to shed light on the contract he had signed with an American lobby firm in behalf of the country.
