BANGUED, Abra — No private security group, including those under the employ of Gov. Vicente Valera, are allowed to carry high-powered firearms, Supt. Rodolfo Ebardo, Abra chief of police, said on Friday.
Ebardo reiterated the prohibition after several heavily armed men, identified to be Valera's men, were seen carrying M-16 rifles inside the compound of the sequestered Cellophil Resources Corp. (CRC) in Gaddani, Tayum.
