NLEX toll fee hike denounced in rally

ANGELES CITY — A big group of demonstrators held a rally in front of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) entry-exit tollbooth in Barangay Pulong Maragul here Wednesday to protest the proposed 1,000-percent increase toll rates.

The demonstrators, headed by members of the Anak Bayan, picketed the tollbooth at the NLEX Sapang Maragul interchange to denounce the proposed toll fees increases, according to Maricar Mendoza, secretary-general of Anak Bayan.
