Escudero, Casiño object to bill asking private individuals to disclose SAL

LAWMAKERS scoff at Malacañang’s idea requiring private individuals to submit their annual statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) for purposes of checking if they are paying the right taxes.

Administration Rep. Crispin “Boying” Remulla of Cavite has filed House Bill 2895 seeking a mandatory submission of SALN by every private individual.
