No amnesty for Magdaló Malacañang hardens stand on mutinous young officers

Malacañang has erased—literally—the likelihood of granting amnesty to the young army officers who led a mutiny last year.

A revision in a press statement issued Thursday by the Palace reflected the complete change from its stand favoring amnesty for the mutineers, who call themselves the Magdaló group.
