In the face of rising fuel prices, Environment Secretary Mike Defensor has endorsed a gas-saving device invented by a 67-year-old former jeepney operator that also reduces air pollution from motor vehicles.

Impressed by the Khaos Super Turbo Charger when it was tested Wednesday at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Defensor said the DENR will endorse its use to comply with Republic Act 8749, the Clean Air Act.
