TWO communist rebel propagandists—Richard Orang alias “Ka Jack” and Jomar Orang—surrendered to government troops in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte over the weekend. The rebels are members of the Squad-3 of the Sandatahang Platon Propaganda-21C of the NPA’s North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee that operates in the hinterlands of Agusan del Norte. The two who brought along with them two AK-47 assault rifles with four magazines and 119 rounds of live ammunitions said they decided to yield after years of hardship in the rebel movement.
