The town of Tanay, Rizal embarks on a lengthy celebration of its 410th anniversary through the annual Hane Festival, which will focus on its beautiful tourist spots and natural wonders and honor outstanding citizens. Tanay aims to draw attention to its beauty spots and must-go to destinations such as Daranak Falls, Calinawan Cave, Haranah Eco Park, Tanay Adventure Camp, Camp Capinpin and Regina Rica. The festival, which kicked off with a trail run and mountain climbing during the first week of September, will end with a trail and road run on November 13. It will feature photo and art exhibits, an agricultural fair, a job fair, a street party, a concert, a people’s float parade and the selection of Mutya ng Tanay on November 12. On November 13, the local government will honor its outstanding citizens whose names will be announced later.
