SIMALUNGUN, Indonesia: The rescue of victims of the ill-fated ferry that sank into the depths of a volcanic lake has turned into a search-and-recovery operation.
This developed as police detained the captain of the overloaded Indonesian ferry for questioning over the deadly disaster, authorities said yesterday.
