TROPICAL storm “Inday” (international name: Ampil) has intensified into a severe tropical storm as it moved northwestward, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.
As of 11 a.m., Inday was 925 kilometers (km) east-northeast of Basco, Batanes as it packed winds of 90 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of 115 kph.
