The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in tracking down the authors of online and social media posts that contain fictitious currencies.
In a statement on Friday, the central bank said it had enlisted the support of NBI to “search for individuals or groups that have been maliciously posting photos of defaced Philippine currencies on social media.”
