Tropang Texters edge Aces, force winner take all game
|

JIMMY Alapag and Mac-Mac Cardona combined for 44 points as Talk ‘N
Text defeated Alaska, 99-94 at the Araneta Coliseum Sunday to force
a rubber match in the best-of-seven championship series of the 34th
Philippine Basketball Association-KFC Philippine Cup.
Cardona and Alapag led the Tropang Texters’
fiery run in the third period to post a big 19-point lead, 78-59,
which later served as a cushion when the Aces rallied big in the
fourth period. The win enabled the Tropang Texters to tie the long
series, 3-3.
