Army troops overrun 13 MILF rebel camps in Maguindanao

 
COTABATO CITY: Philippine Army troops overran 13 rebel camps in three towns of Maguindanao province and recovered 43 assorted high-powered firearms and fatigue uniforms left by lawless Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) elements to avoid military offensives, the Philippine News Agency reported.

Lt. Col. Jonathan Ponce, 6th Infantry Division spokesperson, said the 13 camps overran by the Army’s 601st Infantry Brigade were six major camps and seven satellite camps.
