Manufacturing, mining 
to suffer most from costly oil

A HUNDRED dollar oil a barrel scenario may dampen Philippine industry owing to the adverse effect on the mining and manufacturing sectors, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said.

A simulation the agency made showed a $100 oil a barrel may slowdown domestic industry by 0.72 percentage point.
