Awards and the CNET Asia Editor's Choice Awards. HP Notebooks have
also received consistently positive reviews and ratings from CNET
Asia.

For their sleek and unique Imprint design, the HP Pavilion dv6000,
HP Compaq Presario v3000 and HP Compaq Presario v6000 won the 2007
Red Dot Design Award, one of the largest and most acclaimed design
competitions in the world.
The international award attracts up to 6,000 submissions every year.

Award-winning value
CNET Asia highlighted the performance and value of the HP Compaq
Presario b1900 and HP Pavilion dv9100. Both notebooks were given the
CNET Asia Editor's Choice Award. The HP Compaq Presario b1900 was
lauded for its very reasonable price and impressive specifications,
like the good display screen, ultraportability, and separate
graphics processor. For these features, CNET Asia gave the Presario
b19000 a 9/10 overall rating. CNET Asia also praised HP Pavilion dv
9100 for its competitive pricing and gave it an 8/10 rating for its
HDMI output, excellent graphics performance, remote control,
integrated Webcam, and dual hard drive bays.
Most viewed and top rated
Three HP Notebooks –the HP Pavilion dv 2000, HP Compaq Presario
B1900 and the HP Pavilion dv 9100 –simultaneously ranked in CNET
Asia Reviews' Top Five Most Popular Laptop Computers, which is based
on feedback from online viewers. Meanwhile, three other HP Notebooks
made it to CNET Asia Reviews' Top Five Upcoming Laptops list: the HP
Pavilion dv 2200, HP Pavilion 9200, and HP Pavilion 6200.
The HP Pavilion HDX, nicknamed "The Dragon", placed fourth
in CNET Asia's list of Top Five DirectX 10 Gaming Notebooks. The
Dragon was noted for its massive 20-inch display, pioneering Core 2
Extreme Mobile CPU, pop-out remote control, and touch-sensitive
controls. It was given an 8.1/10 rating by CNET Asia.
Consistently great reviews
HP Notebooks have consistently earned high ratings in CNET Asia's
various categories. In December 2006, the HP Compaq Presario v3000
ranked second and fourth, respectively, in CNET Asia's Top Five
Budget Notebooks and Top Ten Notebooks categories. In the same
month, the HP Pavilion dv2000 ranked first in CNET Asia's Top Five
Thin and Light Notebooks category and took the eighth spot on CNET
Asia's list of Top Ten Notebooks.
In April 2007, four HP Notebooks made it to CNET Asia's list of Top
Ten Notebooks: the HP Compaq Presario v3200 (third), HP Pavilion
dv2200 (fifth), HP Compaq Presario b1900 (eighth), and HP Pavilion
dv9100 (ninth). In May 2007, CNET Asia's Top Ten Notebooks list
showcased the following HP Notebooks: the HP Compaq Presario c500
(third), HP Compaq Presario v3400 (eighth), and HP Pavilion dv9100
(ninth). Another three HP Notebooks made it to the Top Ten in June
2007: the HP Compaq Presario v3500 (third), Compaq Presario b1900
(seventh), and HP Pavilion dv9500 (ninth).
