TAGAYTAY CITY: Pagadian whipped National Basketball League Selection
of Malaysia, 90-78, to reach the semifinals of the 2007 Tagaytay-NBC
International Invitational Cup Sunday at the Tolentino Sports and
Activity Center here.
Montaņa Pawnshop-Davao demolished Indonesia,
70-49, to also earn a semis berth in the tournament sponsored by
Spring Cooking Oil, Champion Sportswear, Molten and Sulpicio Lines.
The semifinal matches pitting the Explorers
against the Jewellers and the Gensan Pacman against host Tagaytay-Spring
Cooking Oil were scheduled late Monday. The winners will dispute the
title Wednesday.
