CHEVROLET Phils., together with Top Gear, is staging the Design the Spark Race Car contest in which participants got to submit renderings of graphics for the car’s body.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize and other giveaways, and the artist’s name will be incorporated in the Spark racecar. The company noted that design entries that have been submitted can already be viewed in the Top Gear website, and that online voting will end on December 15.
The winning graphic design will finish off the Spark racecar, which has already been modified by Speedlab. Chevy said the tuning shop has installed a cold air intake system with bypass valve, custom exhaust, Unichip module with NX control, Nitrous Express kit with extra tank, Runstop big brake kit, Scan gauges, OMP harnesses, racing seats, steering wheel, pedals and shift knob, a custom roll cage, and Pivot push-start switch and grounding kit. H&R springs now suspend the car while Concept One provided the wheels and tires. Castrol has also ensured the that car is well lubricated.
