KENNY Rogers Roasters Philippines plans to spend hundreds of millions of pesos next year to put up more stores nationwide.
In a briefing, Danny Pumarega, general manager of Kenny Rogers Philippines, told reporters that the company would put up two stores by yearend in Paseo de Santa Rosa in Laguna and in SM Dasmariñas.
“For next year, we plan to open eight to 10 stores nationwide,” Pumarega said.
Investment for a store ranges from P15 million to P25 million.
At present, the company has 41 branches nationwide. Of the total stores, 34 are company owned and seven are owned by franchisees.
Pumarega said the company expects sales to grow between P2 billion and P3 billion in the next two to three years.
Kenny Rogers Philippines recently launched a new chicken flavor—the Honey Roast Chicken—and four new side dishes: Garlic Parmesan Green Beans, Turnip Salad, Sour Cream and Chives Potatoes and Aglio Oglio.
“With the introduction of the Honey Roast Chicken we are raising the bar in healthy eating. It’s out commitment to provide valued guests with smart and unique offers that are truly delicious but not heavy on the budget,” Meggie Jose, Kenny Rogers Philippines general manager said.
The US-franchised concept of Kenny Rogers Roasters was brought to the Philippines by Roasters Philippines Inc. in 1995.
