Filipino-American Joshua Hall’s bronze medal in the men’s 100-meter breaststroke event during the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar is expected to be upgraded to silver. This development came after the International Swimming Federation (FINA) slapped a two-year ban to Indonesian tanker Indra Gunawan, who won the silver in the biennial meet. Gunawan’s urine sample was tested positive of Methylhexaneamine, a performance enhancing drug (PED) during a random testing in the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games held in July 2013. Methylhexaneamine is an energy-boosting dietary supplement prohibited by the FINA and World Anti-Doping Agency.
