Sen. Leila de Lima has filed a bill seeking to repeal the Campus Journalism Act because of its “serious flaws in promoting the growth and development of student journalism.”
In filing Senate Bill (SB) 1868, de Lima noted that Republic Act 7079 curtail the development and growth of campus journalism and fails to promote and protect the rights and welfare of student writers.
