Complaints mount over 4Ps

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Legitimate beneficiaries of the government’s poverty alleviation program “Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program” or “4Ps” in Tawi-Tawi and Maguindanao provinces in southern Mindanao have complained that “fake” beneficiaries are receiving payout and that many of them are not actually poor.

One villager in Bongao town in Tawi-Tawi recently alleged that many 4Ps beneficiaries there were not even entitled to receive such benefits and has asked the government to investigate the scam.
