THE Commission on Audit (CoA) found that the P1 million paid by the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) to a radio reporter lacked legal basis.
“Expenditures amounting to P1,050,000 were bereft of legal basis,” CoA said in its 2017 audit report on the CWC, an attached agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
