Traffic was disrupted along the northbound lane of EDSA in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila) after a passenger bus from Sorsogon going to Cubao, Quezon City caught fire near the Metro Rail Transit’s Ortigas station at about 4 a.m. on Monday. Driver Joseph Bermeo of Elavil Tours Phils. Inc.’ bus (EVS-659), claimed that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring. No one was reported hurt.
